SE24 first installations completed

SE24 is celebrating its first successful installation. SE24 has partnered Herne Hill United Church and Herne Hill Methodist Church Hall to install solar PV panels on both buildings which are now generating cheap and clean electricity at both sites. This is the platform on which SE24 intends to build with new installations planned on other community buildings in South London.

The installations at Herne Hill United Church and Herne Hill Methodist Church Hall were formally opened on Tues 22nd Nov – we were even blessed with some late Autumn milky sunshine for the occasion – very welcome after the torrential rain of the previous days. Thanks to  Southwark Counsellor Jane Lyons (@CllrJaneLyons) for supplying the first photo of Mark Hughes explaining the installation from the roof top at Herne Hill United Church.

Jane Lyons tweeted:  ‘‘s Mark Hughes shows some of the 38 new solar panels on HH’s United Church roof. Great to see such local enterprise.’
