SE24 welcomes the #Fair4Solar Campaign – please join in!

This is a campaign message from Léonie Greene

We are ramping up our efforts to safeguard the export tariff as soon as possible for solar power with a social media campaign, starting today, directing people to our campaign page on our website, which sets out eight simple actions they can take to help. This links to the current Greenpeace petition and, in due course, a dedicated campaign by 10:10 Climate Action (coming soon!).

We’d be very grateful indeed for your support and urge you to join in as much or as little as you’d like. Ways to take part include adding the logo to your website, with a link to our campaign page, adding a #Fair4Solar Twibbon to your social media profiles, sharing our dedicated infographics on social media, spreading the word amongst your network and contacting your MP using our #Fair4Solar briefing with WWF, Church of England, NFU and others. We need to create noise and pressure on the Minister to answer our very reasonable demands for fair treatment.

Do check out our resource pack and please feel free to be as creative as you like! You may well have ideas of your own…

We’ll also be promoting a series of videos from key stakeholders in solar power, such as schools, local Government leaders, young people, community energy groups and more to demonstrate the tremendous diversity of support for solar across the country. If you want to get involved and post your own video short on why solar power matters to you, please do!
