SE24 celebrates new grants from Southwark Community Energy Fund

SE24 is proud to be one of the 24 recipients of SCEF’s grants to community-led green projects that will reduce energy bills and help the environment in the borough.

Our two projects are

  1. Bacon’s College, Rotherhithe where we will receive a capital grant of £50,000 towards our planned solar PV installation
  1. We will also receive a grant of £8,000 to conduct surveys in several community buildings to assess their feasibility for future LED projects

We were kindly hosted by Nicki Howard, Director at 1stPlace nursery and family centre in Peckham, also a recipient of a SCEF feasibility grant to look at heat decarbonisation and solar for their building.
