We were delighted and humbled to receive the Southwark Climate Champion Award at a ceremony at Southwark Cathedral.
Every year The London Borough of Southwark give awards to organisations and individuals that they serve the Borough and portray active citizenship.
This year they recognised SE24 for our ongoing work providing clean energy for schools and community buildings in south east London and putting the proceeds back into the local community through energy poverty outreach work.
“It was great to be part of this celebration event of so much that is good going on in the Borough – with lots of pomp and ceremony in terms of dressing up with cloaks and chains and hats. We were privileged to be included.”
