The 2026 SE24 Share Offer
Deadline extended. Invest now!
SE24 has embarked on our biggest ever finance raise: £250,000 through a community share offer followed by £500,000 via a bond issue.
Invested so far:
We’ve reached our target!
With most of £250k received and the rest expected, we have reached our target for the share offer on time!
Thanks so much to everyone who has invested or spread the word of the share offer.
This means that we can start using the money on our LED projects straight away!
We will update you all on our progress as soon as we get started.
But the share offer is still open…
We’ve decided to keep the share offer open into March, until we are ready to launch the bond offer. Further investment in shares will be an important signal to the market, ahead of the bond offer, that our shareholder community is very much behind these 10 projects and the benefits they will deliver to schools. Also, as we’ve laid out, the more we raise via the share offer vs the bond, the higher the interest rates our investors will receive. For example, with £300k raised compared to £250k, all shareholder returns go up from 5.12% to 5.32%, providing a financial gain as well as more security that we can get these projects done.
So if you’ve invested already and would like to increase your interest, if you’ve been thinking about investing but haven’t yet, or if you think you know someone else who might want to invest in clean, affordable energy for schools in south east London, then please do invest now!

What we’ll do with the invested money
Hot on the heels of completing our 2024 projects with London and South East Academy Trust we have opportunity to undertake another six solar PV and4 LED installations including one in SE24’s home patch – Heron Academy which was formerly the Michael Tippet School in Heron Road.
We also have the biggest solar opportunity yet over at Bacon’s College in Rotherhithe.

“To any other schools who are considering taking these steps and working with SE24, I would just say do it. It’s been a win-win situation for us.”

What’s the difference between the Share offer and the Bond Issue?
We’ve put together a blog post explaining why we’re doing both and what the difference is between them.
- We’ve reached our target!
With most of £250k received and the rest expected, we have reached our target for the share offer on time!
“Community energy is the ideal, real-world embodiment of the ‘just transition’ concept that gets talked about but rarely acted on. And as an investor, I think it’s the best of both worlds – low financial risk with high real and tangible environmental and social impact. It’s hard to find a better ‘true’ impact investment than community energy projects. I’m a repeat SE24 investor – they’ve not missed a scheduled repayment or annual interest payment yet.”
